Every migraine is different
Pain and symptoms vary from person to person and from migraine to migraine. How a migraine starts can differ and so can its symptoms. For example:
Sudden – These are migraines that come on faster than others.
Waking – When you wake up with a migraine.
Nausea/Vomiting – Migraines that make you feel sick to your stomach.
Pills may not be right for some migraines
When your migraine symptoms are like the ones above, some treatments may not offer relief the way you want it. For example, pills may take too long to work—because your body has to digest them—even if you take them right away. Also, if your migraine makes you nauseous or you are vomiting, you may not be able to take a pill.
