1. Why should I track my migraines?

Effective migraine management begins with knowing your unique migraine patterns – how your migraines are triggered, when you typically experience migraine headaches, and which types of medication work for you. Track your migraines to find out your personal migraine profile – including what triggers to avoid and when to take your medication -- then print out your migraine reports to use as a tool for discussion with your practitioner. He or she can use the information from your migraine diary to aid in diagnosis and treatment for your migraine headaches.

2. Why do I need to register?

Registering for the use of My Migraine Diary allows us to help you track your migraines. By providing your information, we can create personalized migraine reports, save your diary entries, and allow you to share your personalized reports with your practitioner. Please see our Privacy Policy.

3. Can I access my diary from my mobile device?

Yes, you can log in and track your headaches using the diary from any mobile browser.

4. How do I share this information with my healthcare provider?

Once you have tracked one or more migraine attacks, click on the “Create a Report” link under the “Resources” tab. Click the “Create Report” button. You will see a screen that allows you to Save, Print, and Email your custom migraine reports. Share your report via a confidential email, or print out your report and bring it into your practitioner’s office.

5. Can I track more than one migraine a day?

Yes. If you have already entered a headache for the day, you will see the following displayed under the day’s date: “Edit this headache or click here to track a new headache for this day.” Simply click the link to track an additional headache.

6. Is there a maximum number of reports I can create?

No. You may create an unlimited number of reports.

7. Can I resend a report after its been emailed to someone?

Yes. Once you create and save a report, you can access it at any time by going to the “Past Reports” link under the “Resources” tab. On this page, you will also be able to see to whom you have emailed the report and on what date. If you would like to view and email a report again, simply select a past report to view, and click the “Email” button.

8. How do I save a report to my computer?

Once you have created a report, you can save a report by hitting the “Save” button next to the “Print” and “Email” buttons when viewing a report. This will save the report so that it will be available to access when you log in to your migraine diary. When you see the confirmation message, you will be offered a chance to “Save report to your computer?” Click this button, select the area of your computer where you would like to save your report (i.e. “Desktop” or “Documents”) and hit “Save.” That’s it, you’re done!
